Outside Sales Rep for Southeast Region

- Growing profitable sales within target industries
- Developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales
- Scheduling and performing cold calls to prospective customers in the Midwest territory
- Maintenance of key customers ensuring a continued base of profitable business
- Providing quotations to customers and converting these quotations into sales
- Maintaining a current understanding of metals industry trends (i.e. pricing)
- Responding to customer requests for pricing, availability and product information.
- Communicating with other departments, including, production/operations and purchasing.
Requirements for Position:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Five (5) or more years of metals industry experience.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Experience in sales (metals industry sales is a plus)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Products)
- Must reside in the Southeast territory
